I was born in
Montreal and grew up in Quebec City.
I obtained
a BAC in Food Sciences at Laval University.
I worked 2 years as a food scientist doing QC and product development.
I am now part of Metarom’s west coast team and in charge of technical
support, presentations, flavor creation and product development,
giving me a chance to learn new aspects (marketing and sales) while
becoming a better flavorist through continuos training.
It’s been a fascinating experience working in a field where I use
both my creative and scientific skills while getting involved with
clients on product development.

I
am a workaholic flavorist, with a college degree in Food Technology-Dairy
Products from the IFT in St-Hyacinthie in May 1989.
I joined Metarom Canada in September 8th, 1989. I began as a technician
in QC for 2 years then promoted to R&D.
After 2 years, I became in charge of the research laboratory.
In November 1995 Pierre Miclette - senior flavorist joined Metarom
as the technical director and he gave me the title of junior flavorist.
In September 2001, it will represent for me 12 years of service for
Metarom Canada and I think that this is a big achievement for me.

I have been working since 1996 in flavor creation for Metarom Canada.
I am working as technical support for North East USA and pharmaceutical
industries in the Quebec Province areas.
Previously, I worked 4 years for a consultant group, Alpha-Biotech
in food products development in Quebec City.
I am a member of “L’Ordre des Chimistes du Quebec” (Chemistry Order).
I have a M.S. in Food Sciences from Laval University, and a B.S. in
Food Chemistry.
I traveled in Australia and the Pacific Islands to discover exotic
tastes. I like travelling and maintaining an open mind to the world. |

I live in my native New Jersey with my husband John, a Computer repair
Technician, and my daughter, Rachel, age eleven.
Growing up I spent many summers in Alaska where I learned to enjoy
fishing and camping. When not working, my interests include cooking,
baking, counted cross stitch, swimming, reading, and writing poetry.
I’m fluent in French. I love to travel, especially to France and Israel.
I am active in my local church. John and I broadcast in French and
English over short-wave radio to Europe and Africa for the church.
I love cats, particularly our family pet, Pockets. |
