Yes
indeed! If
you are reading this on your computer, you will notice all the
changes we have made. This new and improved newsletter is now
a web page, in other words, you will no longer need to open Adobe
Reader to see it. You will notice how fast it downloads and how
user-friendly it is. You still have the option to open it and
print it using Adobe Reader, just click under the link "printable
edition".
For all of you that are still in the last century, you might be
reading this a few weeks later, from a mailed print copy. Shame
on you! You do not know what are you missing.
On
another note, two meetings have occurred but unfortunately I am
not including any information from the technical session since my
schedule did not give me the opportunity to attend. I was hoping
that any member would have provided me with a summary of the previous
meetings, but obviously it did not happen.
By
now, all of you have received the minutes from the meetings and
will have been informed of the changes on the by-laws.
You also have learned that Dolf DeRovira is passing the presidential
gavel on to Robert Vogt. Dolf has enlightened us once more with
his last letter (see President's letter). Please attend the
next meeting and meet our new board of directors.
Welcome
to the 5 new members and Congratulations to the 3 upgrades. Read
their biographies on the "new members and upgrades" section.
Gerard
Mosciano cannot stop impressing me. He is a hot shot at surfing
the web. I wish I had read his article about "Car shopping made
easy" before buying my car. I am sure I could have gotten a better
deal. Read all about it in the cybermania section.
In
the Flavor Notes section, Eugene Buday invites us to read
his "10 commandments for Flavor Training". It is a very instructive
article that I am sure you will enjoy. Please send us all your comments.
We would love to hear from you.
